1999-2002 DEVELOPMENT ERA
The very first design idea for this aircraft is presented in the basic blue print below and this design actually represents what the M22 would have become if we had in fact never changed it from the start. As the future would have it this design just never got off the ground. The M22 officially flew for the first time in MSFS 2002on June 8th 2002 just two months before the official start of the MoTIS online development mission! The development tools of the day never gave us the ability to create the aircraft the way we wanted her and so out into the world she went in very rough BETA form. FIRST DESIGN TRIAL PHOTO IS A LINK TO A LARGER PHOTO The first official blue print of the original conceived design and the first official FSREALITY real time flight! The aircraft designers at MoTIS created this aircraft to be light weight with medium performance specs. The aircraft is designed to meet the need for the next phase in General/Air Charter aviation. This new phase in aviation is giving the average person the ability to use air space to open up a new world of experiences for the private pilot and beyond. If the airplane is to truly be the tool of the future then it must be practical and somewhat simple to operate. Taking all of this into consideration MoTIS brings you the M22! A light weight VFR equipped aircraft that can operate on any runway material and has STOL capabilities!
The M22 leaped out of the head of project designer Otis Watson and on to the drawing board on June 1st 2002. The first test flight of this aircraft was conducted on June 8th 2002 at 3:45 P.M. The aircraft was successfully configured and tested all within 7 working days! Team MoTIS sets high standards and strives for quick delivery! The M22 series of economical air taxis is the first on the next generation of affordable jet transport aircraft. The M22 AT STANDARD is the first aircraft released from MoTIS VJD. The last true build of the Air Taxi series will be the M22 EX-L
The M22 has been designed by the engineers at MoTIS VJD to be a true air taxi jet server. Jetting people from their small home airports to major airports for transport to their final destination! The M22 is not a jet aircraft built for maximum speed but maximum efficiency in this new aspect of the aviation industry\ As the advancements in the flight simulation development programs marched on the ability to do more with the original aircraft cane rushing up on us fast and new after all the designed and redesigns on the aircraft we had the green light to get her just the way we wanted. As MoTIS opened our doors we had an up hill climb and had a deep mission to fill and as we began too become a hit in the total development of never before seen or flown neo concept aircraft, the M22 to a back seat for two more years to a growing online infrastructure mission! Just over the last year of 2006 we have almost totally filled the complete infrastructure mission that we started laboring for in 2002 and we just with in this last year found our way back to the beginning! SO MUCH MORE HISTORY TO COME....
Note: All of these concept aircraft are from the design staff of the MoTIS CAD engineering board and our CEO. We do not copy others work or design real world concept aircraft at all. Each of our aircraft are from our heads and are the sole intellectual property of MoTIS and we can prove it. We take great pride in all of our true concept designs and do not create real world aircraft, model aircraft variants or concepts, or other designers concept work at all ,but stand by our mission statement in truly creating "OUR OWN DESIGNS"
