MoTIS VIRTUAL FLIGHT LABS
The goal of our flight labs department is to give you the technical side of our aircraft using some of the best real world data analysis software as we are designing neo concept aircraft and not fantasy aircraft we are striving to present and provide the full provable flight data that will establish the reality potential of the MoTIS concept aircraft fleet! As stated numerous times in our website structure we are no where near where we hope to be in the total design of our online neo concept aircraft factory and things are evolving in stages at MoTIS. This part of our website is really more for the serious concept designer and dedicated pilots who need the total design data on all the wonderful neo concept aircraft that we have designed and can actually provide proof that they can indeed fly in sate of the art aerodynamics software!
X-Plane v7 has a host of needed tools to prove that our aircraft are not just cool looking when translated into the MSFS 2002/2004 environment but we fully test all of our neo concept flight models in X-Plane first to prove the air file data then we standardize the air file in MSFS to comply with the full test data that X-Plane variables allows one to achieve.
This department will be ultra technical and some understanding of real world engineering math and aeronautics will be needed to make sense of the data postings but we consider the title of a neo concept aircraft must have all the real data or its just a pretty aircraft and deservers the title fantasy and our aircraft in fact do not as we have taken the design and the testing and the concept as far as it can be taken in an electronic environment before we start real world RC and beyond production of our aircraft!!!
Our goal in the flight test labs is to accomplish two primary goals and one secondary goals. The first thing that we want to do is create a total laboratory atmosphere where this page reflects the real time flight design and testing data of all of our research aircraft and to second provide proof of concept to our designs and our new neo concept technologies. Lastly we want this lab to be a portal of learning for the basic or complex designer and the pilot alike as the test that we will be conducting with computer software can help university students and aviation enthusiast alike. There will be many test that we conduct but there will be a standard battery of test that we will us to work up our designs. This testing model that we will use will be called: The Total Depth Flight Analysis designed by O Watson and Jennifer Guess and copyrighted on 05/25/2002. This will take an integrated approach to putting the design together and expressing the whys of the tests that make the design proof based for potential real world usage... The data that we will make public will be derived from the ANALYTICAL TEST ZONE and the WIND TUNNEL TEST FLIGHT ZONE. The ANALYTICAL zone will focus on the mathematical side of the design will the WIND TUNNEL tests will be more graphics based using the software test suite designed by O Watson for the original CNG project called Virtual Tunnel Test Array. All the links above will be subsections of the major functions tested in these two major departments. The MVFL and the MPL will work in close connection to provide the nest quality reality tested products that we can design and develop.
