The MoTIS TARANGA is the next phase in the MoTIS medium range business transport aircraft.


The MoTIS TARANGA is the sole design accomplishment of O WATSON and J. GUESS and has been translated from the 2D design boards of our 2002 business category folders. The TARANGA is designed to be a light weight jet that is designed for interstate business transport of 6-8 passengers including a pilot of one. The aircraft is designed to be a high visibility carbon composite aircraft that has a titanium casing frame that bolts the critical wing to a bubble incased fuselage wing fusion joint! The aircraft uses a very simple but tested landing gear system that is some what analogous to the old LEAR 23.

The TARANGA will be able to do a smooth 395-402kts and will have a range just under 1300nms very similar in rage specs to the Cessna CE-525.

The TARANAG is slated to be designed in three variants. A military version, a standard business transport version and a first for a sleek jet design of this type, a great water version! The water skids that we have designed for the water bird version is unique to say the least!

The TARANGA is not built to be a long range business transport aircraft but instead to fill a intermediate business category of aircraft in the expanding S.A.T.S PROGRAM and the AGATE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT.  As team MoTIS prides it self in the creation of never before seen neo concept aircraft we are also concerned in the true translational feasibility of creation and designing real world capable aircraft. This aircraft was first fully flight tested on APRIL 22 2004 and was not released for preview until a few days before the Memorial day week end. As this real time product development, testing, and preview to release my be frustrating to traditional form of flight simulation product development, we have had to embrace this type of mission due to the shear scope and dimensions of our simulated/real world design agendas!

A super sport version of the TARANGA is being seriously considered in light of the fact that this aircraft is not designed to be a super fast or super long rage transport aircraft. Team MoTIS is still debating on what type of avionics package to out lay this awesome concept aircraft in. We are seriously considering a great neo concept gauge package that we are in fact working on in the MAVTEK development department!
