THE PATH TO THE HISTORICAL CONCEPT GATE WAY OF ONLINE FS CONCEPT AVIATION!
IMPORTANT NEWS: As neo concept aircraft designing with the help of team MoTIS and others is starting to reach critical mass, we will start adding others constant contributions to this website in a link titled the neo concept revolution! Its starting to happen now! Developer are taking this neo concept side of designing serious and are now adding concept or experimental development hangars to their already excellent real world development missions and at team MoTIS we will add support to developers works by posting them here where our over 3000 website hits a week to this site can see the great works of art that have come from you and not some real world replication! As team MoTIS strives for excellence in each and every thing that we do as it relates to our life philosophy and the MoTIS mission, we have conducted this extensive research analysis to first give all the proper credit to contributors of the neo concept movement and second to create a true path of history as concept FS REALITY as coined by the MoTIS neo concept development mission is coming on into a totally unique and exciting field of itself and it should be given the respect that it deserves as neo concept FS designs are no more fantasy then each and every virtual pilot all over the planet flying a simulated version of a real world aircraft...
This is our only mission in the spirit of good well and nothing more.

THE CHRONOLOGICAL HISTORY OF MSFS FS 98-2004 AND X-PLANE NEO CONCEPT AVIATION
"History is a great subject as it sheds truth on the past, present, and future!"
The goal of this archive is to give an actual and factual representation of the major current contributors to Microsoft FS concept aviation all over the world. All data and research into this issue has been extracted out of the public domain as related to the once designated fictional design category which has since been given the proper respect of neo concept aircraft designs! The concept groups/firms listed on this page are listed in order of dates that their respective WebPages were put up on the net in representation of their concept design missions. This is not a ranking of groups but only a grouping of the major active contributors to the exciting and expanding field of neo concept aircraft design and development!
Neo concept aircraft definition: A never before totally new aircraft design by the individual i.e.. his/her own intellectual property... As defined by MoTIS INDUSTRIES
Note: In accordance with united states mounting cyber laws - if you request removal we will do so asap! This report dose not exist to misrepresent anyone what so ever... We welcome all input on adding to this historical compilation. If you think that some ones contributions need to be added just email us and we will make it so ASAP! Thank you.
THE CONCEPT DEVELOPER AND HIS/HER MISSION
In our expansive research we found out a few things about MSFS concept contributors and developers. They are very fun, bright, thoughtful, and expressive people! Most people coming into the concept development arena have been tinkering with 2d designs on paper for years and are probably the kid that we all saw and know from that back of the school bus drawing on a piece of paper stick figures and airplanes! Concept development by its very nature is small as there are truly not that many real world FS designers that stay around for the long haul, most developers put out a few craft only to find that other real life tasks call them back but as flight simulation is a continuum, the influx rates seem to be balanced be the efflux rates.
Concept design is all about self expression! As most designers are not bound by the development specs of a real world blue print, the concept designer can crate whole new systems and designs as far as his/her imagination will allow them to go! In a nutshell concept design and development must be and should be about freedom and self expression!!! Some may feel that they don't want to developed concept designs because they may think that others will develop or steal their great ideas, but we say "The internet is a place of great truth because everyone on the planet can see what you are doing at any time just by going to your website!!!! The most powerful deterrent to this type of thing is to have the whole world watching what you are doing from day one, as well as others as the shear attention to what is being developed and who is doing what , at what time, and for how long they have been doing it, really should negate any one with these fears! The more people who see what your design style is , how you design, and what you are designing, the less likely some one will try to copy your work!" As in flight simulation, must people want people to fly there work and each person who fly's your stuff is a witness to the truth of your efforts and these loyal patrons will always help any designer who truly serves them with what we hope won't become some computer piracy omissions...
So put that aside if you have talent and get out the 2D paper and pen and think up something great!

CONCEPT DESIGN CATEGORIES
As some designers in the concept genre are pouring there hearts in making these neo concept design as real as it gets, other designs are purely for fun. Team MoTIS has developed a little ranking system and all may use it or not use it but this should apply to separating those fantasy designs with no flight dynamics and detailed histories, to all the trouble that some are going to make things as real as it get!

1. AN AIRCRAFT THAT IS PURELY SCIENCE FICTION AND EVERYONE KNOWS JUST BY LOOKING AT IT THAT ITS A FANTASY THAT MOST LIKELY WONT FLY IN THE REAL WORLD!
CLASS FAN CONCEPT
THE WEBSITES THAT GAVE CONCEPT AVIATION A CHANCE
These are the major organizations that have given concept designers a platform to represent there work! These stated FS web servers have also kept dates and times of concept developers historical contributions in the chronologies of there storage on these stated servers and this is where the bulk of our research has gone into getting accurate dates and times and years for who has been shaping the developing world of concept aviation from the beginning!
THE CONCEPT CHRONOLOGY AND STORY
http://www.simviation.com/fs_concept1.htm
We believe that SIMVIATION shows a very good chronology as to the dates and gaps in concept designs. After carefully looking into the small concept cache of aircraft there its is safe to say that CONCEPT AIRCRAFT pages one has the best starting point to see haw the freeware development concept mission has been evolving!

FIRST TOTAL NEO CONCEPT DEVELOPER IN THE MSFS WORLD
ONE OF THE OLDEST OFFICIAL NEO CONCEPT AIRCRAFT FULLY DEVELOPED FOR MSFS
2000 CONCEPT AIRCRAFT RELEASE!
Most people in the MSFS world would probable say that this is the first serious concept project to start the concept genre on its way towards concept development and we at team MoTIS agree!
ick Pike's concept business jet (the
Boeing 575) really is an unusual aircraft, and it includes a few features never
before seen on FS2000. The overall look of the aircraft is rather pleasing, and
unlike some other concept aircraft for flight sims, this one looks as though it
could actually fly. It's a four-seater and has two Rolls-Royce turbofans. It has
a pseudo-delta wing and has a very rugged looking undercarriage. It comes with
only the default Learjet panel and sounds, but frankly, they suit the 575.
The flight dynamics are quite nice, and seem to be based on the default Learjet. There is no documentation that relates to the 575's speed limits, altitude limits and range; but from testing it out it seems that they are very similar to the Learjet 45's speed, altitude and range limits. It has reasonably good STOL performance and when fully loaded it rotates at around 130 kts. I took it all the way up to FL410, and it performed well at all altitudes. I could sustain Mach 0.77 at altitude, and the over speed warning came on at Mach 0.79. However, although auto throttle is available, you have to arm it first, and as the default Learjet panel doesn't have an auto throttle arming switch you have to do it by the autopilot menu or via the keyboard. This little problem can be solved quite easily by using another panel. Range seems to be quite good, and I would guess that it has trans-Atlantic capabilities. The viewpoint is good, and the manual flying is easy enough.
![]() |
It's the outside of the 575 that's really special. All the usual animation,
including nose wheel, is present, and moves nicely. Spoilers are available on
this aircraft however these are not animated. There seems to be no space for
spoilers on the aircraft and it would be unusual for an aircraft of this size to
have spoilers, so the designer may have included spoilers accidentally. Flap
animation is particularly nice. The aircraft also uniquely has turning wheels.
When the aircraft taxis, the wheels turn nicely. When airborne the wheels stop
turning, which is a nice feature. Gear retraction is very good, with the gear
retracting into 3D bays. We've had pilot's heads turning with stick movement,
but this aircraft has moving control columns, with the column moving forwards
and backwards and the wheel moving left and right. Both control columns move,
and this is a very interesting (and unique) feature. The problem is that it is
quite difficult to see them.
The fans are also animated, with it being possible to see all the way through the engine. At the rear of the engine there is another unique feature -- an animated jet exhaust. When the engines are running, the exhaust texture rotates and actually looks quite nice and realistic. There is one problem with this, and that is that when the engine is stopped the exhaust is still present, but not rotating. This is a problem, but Nick Pike gives you instructions to remove the exhaust if it annoys you. There are no animated thrust reverses, but Nick tells us that they might be present in a later release.
Night lighting is good. It includes the landing light cones that everyone is mad about. It also includes the beacon reflection on the fuselage (stabiliser, actually) that's been cropping up recently on some aircraft.
The aircraft is quite complex, but frame rates are reasonably good and are a lot better than I expected.
In conclusion, this is a great aircraft with a novel design and some really cool features. The rotating wheels are really good, as are the animated control columns and the animated exhausts are interesting, and definitely could be improved and included in future aircraft. The lack of panel and sounds isn't that much of a problem and there are plenty of other panels out there that can be used. Now all we need to do is get Boeing to build a real-life 575 and in a few years' time instead of an SUV, we'll be taking the kids to school in a Boeing 575.

OCTOBER 2002 ISSUE OF C.P.M
THE FUTURE OF CONCEPT AVIATION
We believe that the internet is a dynamic tool and that good ideas tend to catch on fast. This is how come there is a Boeing and Cessna after there was a Wilbur and Orville Wright. A great idea just kept growing. MoTIS is not claiming to be great, or trendy but MoTIS is claiming to be on the that faithful mission to start us accepting and flying and implementing our own aircraft into our world. Every virtual airline on the net that flies a Boeing 727 or a Beech 1900 is carrying on the legacy of simulating reality but I humbly ask us to start flying M35s or whatever we can dream up so that we can be the foundation of a new reality, the virtual world reality. For every real aircraft that got recognition and is being simulated in cyberspace; there truly can be a concept aircraft that can move from our world and into reality. For all of those who believe this can't be done every great industry has always had a neigh sayer and in the end the neigh sayers sit on the sidelines and miss the opportunity at creating reality. MoTIS VJD doesn't want to miss its faithful date with reality so whether you’re a third party designer, a CEO, a virtual pilot or you just love the idea of adding your input to shaping the next generation in virtual aviation help us add something new to our world.

ARTICLE MSFS DIRECTED NOW THAT X-PLANE IS ADDED TO HISTORY PAGE
In the world of real world aviation ,concept aircraft design is the forerunner of all the great standard aircrafts that we have all come to know and to love. The gamut of aircraft in aviation is to large to even try to name them all but from the great bombers of the past like the war tested B-17 to the next step in mass passenger transport with the coming of the mammoth AIRBUS A 380, the face of aviation never stops evolving and changing.
Flight simulation is a phase of real world aviation that give individuals the ability to fly numerous aircraft and have great fun in a friendly and exciting forum that if taken on as a career as a real world pilot, ATC operator, flight instructor or what ever, would surly limit the types of mecha a real world pilot could fly and the rules of the game so to speak. Desk top flying has truly become the place to share in what can be called the Unlimited Flight Experience.
Flight simulation over the years has evolved into a master field where virtual airlines, virtual ATC providers , and numerous others has contributed massive data, time, energy, money , and effort to making flight simulation as real as it gets.!
With the production of great CAD like programs such as the famous FSDS from ABACUS to the well loved GMAX design program, the aircraft of MSFS aviation have been designed to represent the best of real world represented aircraft designs.
While there is a great number of real world aircraft to be translated into our favorite simulators there is a different group of men/women on the planet who instead of redesigning real world aircraft have in fact strived to give us something of themselves in the way of their own designs!
These men and women are infact traveling in the same path as the great pioneers of the past by using these great CAD programs to completely design new and never before seen neo concept aircraft of the future!
FS Concept aviation really got its start with a great freeware designer at AEROWORKS TECHNOLOGIES and really began its expansion and cohesion mission under the MoTIS VJD expansion mission! Before this the fictional designation was the definition of the day and the group contributions of FS NEO CONCEPT design was sporadic at best.. As no one can or should really claim anything that truly belongs to no respective person in the hobby, credit and true reference points are always the stuff of true history as are the goals of this report...
The goal of this article is to once and for all establish an organized document that will truly represent the many contributions to this dynamic and under represented area of MSFS neo concept aircraft design.
THE NEXT NEO CONCEPT ERA AWAITS!
STATEMENTS PERTAINING TO MSFS GENRE
This is a current historical research study as conducted into the area of contributors to the dynamic and exciting fields of FS neo concept design conducted by MoTIS VJD. This is a none biased report into the underrepresented area of next generation neo concept design and a gathering of prolific and contributing designers. We have gathered the best information from public domain sites on the internet only in order to organize and bring a cohesive report in the true and evolving history of the face of concept FS aviation. In no way are attempting to rank or define the work of other designers as our own , all we are doing infact is giving a factual account of what is and has been sated in the public domain. MoTIS is providing inspiration, cohesion, and creativity to this underrepresented area of FS design.
We have championed the fight to destroy the myth that FS concept design are some how fantasy and in fact have greatly helped to eliminate this myth as numerous designs are using the term potential reality and neo concept over this once foolishly applied term
Chronological history ranging from1998-2007 collected by MoTIS INDUSTRIES
