MoTIS MRA-X2H SAVAGE INTRODUCTION-TOP

THE SAVAGE HISTORY:

The SAVAGE was born at X ROW at the now well known hangar 32! The SAVAGE is designed for long range and high altitude operations and she is designed to expand in flight just like the famed SR 71 BLACK BIRD!

The MoTIS MRA-X2H SAVAGE has been designed to be the non-aggressive, super sonic deterrent interceptor of the future! This aircraft is a neo concept FSREALITY aircraft produced by MoTIS CAD engineers, and is the brain child of pioneer neo concept designer, O WATSON and Jen GUESS. The SAVAGE is slated as a high altitude, long range aircraft with the new ability of super cruise technology. The SAVAGE is a carbon/carbon fiber polymer composite cross linked with titanium and aluminum fibers will make up the majority of the aircraft airframe.

The aircraft is designed as a single pilot operations platform but she will come in a few very functional variants! The SAVAGE will be accompanied by a trainer aircraft that will be a twin seated training variant of this aircraft. The SAVAGE is born of the need to create a multi-rolled interceptor that can function in none fighter capacities.

 This aircraft is a super logistical support aircraft that is designed to back up full fight interceptors link the Grumman F14 TOMCAT! The reason for building a super non-primary fighter interceptor aircraft is to give it what we are calling the designation of being a Trans-continental Interceptor role. 

AIRCRAFT NOW VEDA AND ECATA CERTIFIED

The MoTIS launch partner effect: Experimental Test Pilot and VUSSP Astronaut Candidate Steve J. LeDuke was the first to test fly the aircraft. This means that this particular aircraft in question is designed for ultra fast, super range interception! This will disallow any neighboring enemy states the initial opportunity to encroach upon friendly airspace. This aircraft while playing its role as a long range interceptor, will have a primary long range weapon system, but will only be used and armed in the light attack version of this aircraft.

 The SAVAGE will preview in the first stated variant known as MVA-X2H -M1.

The logistical cockpit is designed for long range aircraft operations and is actual very plush for a fighter type aircraft.

THE SAVAGE MAIN PANEL DISPLAY 0:

The SAVAGE has been equipped with a few giddies in the area of clip boards and additional editing bmp's in cockpit screen overlays! These boards are for your flight missions and can be changed as needed by editing the BMP file located in the main aircraft panel folder!

Add what ever you need to the clips and share them with you mission commanders!




THE SAVAGE MAIN PANEL DISPLAY:

The SAVAGE is fitted with three main Primary Flight Display systems.  Two of the PFD screens are considered fixed and the center PFD simulates a functional PFD/MFD. The left PFD is fitted with a vertical speed indicator, airspeed data, and a radar altimeter, with an elevator position read out! (Very important). The right PFD is fitted with a power strip, Mach read out, G force read out, with redundant digital flight info read outs and a basic attitude indicator. A more detailed flight labeler is include in the aircraft cockpit!

COCKPIT PANEL FUNCTIONS


The SAVAGE is fitted with six in cockpit switches that will allow you to switch between various windows and PFD functions. Each one of the areas list below is what each function button is designed to simulate in the aircraft.

Start up and shut down panel viewing:

When starting and shutting down the SAVAGE we recommend that you activate F2 and F6 on the main panel so that you will be presented with the engine PFD screen and the side view panel that contains all the aircraft start up button functions!

The center PFD is where all the action will take place in this aircraft! There are six function buttons that are linked to pop up windows that will simulate all the action on the PFD screens!

THE SAVAGE MAIN PANEL DISPLAY III:

This PFD screen gives a basic radio (Freeware gauge) and a throttle read out, with a basic electronics bus status. The gauges are in XML format and are basic but a full suit will come over the numerous upgrade of this aircraft in deep evolution! The bus analysis station on this beast is designed primarily to simulate an active system read out display only. As we continue to update and upgrade this aircraft we assure you that thinks will become much more intensive in our avionics presentation for this aircraft, which will remain a work in progress!


Ground work and takeoff panel viewing:

We recommend that you take of the SAVAGE with the standard empty panel view. This will give you all the needed base flight data to get the aircraft into the air safely. We how ever do request that on takeoff for the first 20 hours of flying this aircraft that you use F2 at take off to monitor engine out put values during standard take offs and use this view under all adverse operational situations such as bad weather and any additional stress based situations that the SAVAGE may encounter during its operational life time.


THE SAVAGE MAIN PANEL DISPLAY IV:

The active systems read out station is a very basic PFD out put screen that is solely designed to inform the pilot of the active power being delivered to each of the systems that are present on the screen.

We have a Hugh vision for this screen over the upgrade evolution of this fine aircraft!

THE SAVAGE MAIN PANEL DISPLAY V:

The SAVAGE F3 function button will give you what MoTIS design engineers are calling the aircraft situational over view of your vehicle.

 This view is a work in progress and will be worked on over several updates of this aircraft. As the situational over view of the aircraft in question is designed to give the pilot the total presence of his/her vehicle in flight!

For climbing and cruising in the SAVAGE we request that you keep the standard viewing panel in view and use the situational display provided with the F3 function.


THE SAVAGE MAIN PANEL DISPLAY VI:

This is a very enjoyable gauge station! The F2 full stores and flow dynamics station is where you will be watching your fuel loads go dry! The SAVAGE has a very unique engine set up and design to say the least1 The savage uses two simulated high compression engines that are connected to four forward super sonic flow intake/inlet vector nozzles that auto regulate in the air and on the ground to cause the speed of the incoming air to be of variable speed on its way to the compression chamber!

The rear exhaust ports are also four in number giving the aircraft a sort of parallel to series and back to parallel thrust flow distribution.

THE SAVAGE MAIN PANEL DISPLAY VII:

The F6 button will activate the side systems panel! Now for our first release of this aircraft only a few of the many systems will be fully operational, but over the development life of this aircraft each and every button will be illuminated and under your complete control! As we are now finally working on many new XML and C++ gauges, these types of panels will be come the release standards of the MoTIS neo concept panel development mission!

Basic Notice: When starting this aircraft please activate F6 and F2 to have the side panel start screen up and ready with the engine monitoring station.

THE SAVAGE VIRTUAL COCKPIT I :

The SAVAGE VC is a really fun place to pilot the aircraft from and we are going to pull out all the stops on this one! For our first full release you will only be getting what we put in or 70/30 rule aircraft and that is 30% gauge mapping and 70% rendered textures!

For the first release you will be getting only a few fully functional VC components but we will make this cockpit sing over the life of the FSREALITY real time update mission so please stay up on you trigger finger as you will need it!

In-flight notes: In the aircraft the SAVAGE is a speed beast! This aircraft is designed to give a pilot good flying characteristics at mach 3.5! She can give you nice acceleration up around Mach 4.0 but burns fuel like the devil! In heavily populated areas fly her during standard flight right at the peak of the speed envelop at Mach 9.5. This should be your standard sub-sonic flight speed for normal operating procedure in this aircraft. This aircraft has a fair amount of induced drag that it simulates and she will handle best under FL 42,000msl below mach 3.0.

This aircraft may freely be load on to FS PLANET, FLY AWAY and www.flightsim.com only.

The MRA -X2H is the total designed work of team MoTIS and the aircraft is under partial VA usage EULA with members of the VUSSP!

This aircraft is being provided free of change for public usage under the rules implied in this public EULA agreement and should be respected and operated with in the scope of these release rules. This aircraft has a limited FSREALITY update and upgrade life of three real time simulated years only. After which this aircraft will be completely redesigned or scraped for public usage. Aircraft to appear in VUSSP standard textures and non-VUSSP logo markings (Only for public use!) Never paint this aircraft any color except black due to the thermal titles that are simulated on the aircraft! Only place additional marking (or enhance the black textures with increased DXT textures in black!) on the aircraft and replace all tail art. Only upload this aircraft to other servers with team MoTIS verified email permission (Which we will post for all VA partners using this aircraft in VA functions). This aircraft will be present at www.flightsim.com for public download with in a short time!!! The VUSSP is the only VA given permission to use this aircraft in VUSSP markings with additional functions and panels that will not exist with in the public release model. All other VA's wishing to use this aircraft in their respective flight colors will need MoTIS permission with an email request. RELEASE PRK1

This aircraft is considered medium quality freeware by all MoTIS release standards. This aircraft is purposely developed to the level of medium quality freeware only and is in what we are calling the path to full concept evolution development mode.

SPEED CONTROL ISSUES

As this aircraft is being designed in real time and progress updates will be current, we are asking all pilots to take it easy on this speed as she is still a bit speed sensitive at low weights and high altitudes! She will do about Mach 4.0 at 63,000 ft msl but can become unstable and as we follow the FSREALITY design philosophy we are only willing to tweak known design flaws so much in keeping with our real world design agenda! As it is well known that all aircraft have some design issue, one dose not iron out all know flight draw backs but teach real world pilots to fly with the respective flight envelop!!!

This SAVAGE release model is designed to be flown and the autopilot is not very functional in this aircraft! As this is a research class aircraft we expect you for the first two releases to fly her by the seat of your pants! The SAVAGE is not for a sim pilot looking to set the autopilot at all, but this powerful aircraft will be a highly skilled FS pilot dream!

   THE SAVAGE FORCES YOU TO STOP SETTING YOUR AUTO PILOT AND GET YOUR FLYING SKILLS BACK!

Because we wanted to make our release date. we have released this model with a few bugs! The flight model of this aircraft was built from the ground up and she will show that the aircraft when loaded with fuel is over weight! Please ignore this read out and fill your aircraft up to full weight as the flight modeling on this aircraft is a work in progress and the lift capacity of this aircraft as designed and tweaked in the aircraft C.F.G will allow this beast to rise into the air with no problems! As building a new flight model to go exclusively with a need aircraft is hard work we will ask you to be patient as we tweak this aircraft with in very real and narrow flight envelopes..

FUEL OVER LOAD

There are a few things missing from this aircraft that the pilots will only be to happy see included in kits 2 and 3! As we at team MoTIS are striving for real time development this aircraft will stay a work in progress for many FSREALITY years to come! We will be adding work crews, engine starts, and other exciting stuff to each and every one of our neo concept flight models for that matter so stay tuned for super update all the time!

GEAR CLEARANCE ISSUE

PRK1 model has a gear clearance issue that we just couldn't resolve for release kit one due to time constraints but we assure you that it will be awesome when all kits have been release!

Our betas test pilots are on the aircraft CFG file and we aim to please. After a real time test flight tonight we will be releasing a new update patch for the PRK1 limited release!

This will fix the VC 's missing gauge that is part of our 70?30 panel design rule!
